Supporters of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have outlined reasons why Northern Nigeria should remain supportive of his administration, citing ongoing infrastructure development, security interventions, economic reforms, and political inclusion.
According to proponents of the administration, the North has continued to benefit from federal investments in key sectors, including agriculture, transportation, road construction, and other critical infrastructure projects aimed at boosting economic growth and improving livelihoods.
They also point to the appointment of northerners into strategic government positions, arguing that the administration has maintained a commitment to inclusiveness and national balance in governance.
Supporters acknowledge that some economic reforms have brought short-term challenges but insist that the measures are designed to address long-standing structural issues and lay the foundation for sustainable economic recovery and growth.
They further argue that continued support for the administration would allow ongoing reforms and development projects to mature and deliver greater benefits, particularly in the areas of security, job creation, and economic stability.
The position comes amid increasing political discussions ahead of the 2027 general elections, as stakeholders continue to assess the performance of the current administration and debate the country’s political future.
