VP Shettima Speaks at Fayemi Symposium, Launches Amandla Institute

Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has delivered the keynote address at the Dr. Kayode Fayemi Commemorative Symposium and the official launch of the Amandla Policy and Leadership Institute in Abuja. Themed “Renewing the Pan-African Ideal for the Changing Times: The Policy and Leadership Challenges and Opportunities,” the event gathered prominent leaders and policymakers to discuss the future of leadership and governance in Africa.

The symposium served as a platform to reflect on the Pan-African vision in today’s evolving global landscape, addressing pressing challenges and exploring innovative policy solutions. In his keynote speech, VP Shettima emphasized the need for bold leadership, strategic policymaking, and strengthened regional cooperation to advance Africa’s development agenda.

A key highlight of the event was the launch of the Amandla Policy and Leadership Institute, a new initiative dedicated to fostering leadership excellence and policy innovation across the continent. The presence of such high-profile personalities underscored the significance of the discussions and the commitment to renewing Africa’s leadership and policy frameworks.
