Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, was seen in a viral video on Thursday proposing to Edo State House of Assembly member, Natasha Osarawu.

In the video, a visibly excited 2Baba embraced the lawmaker, showered her with money, and danced with her before presenting a ring and placing it on her finger. Friends and well-wishers cheered as the moment unfolded.

The proposal comes just a day after 2Baba set social media abuzz with an Instagram video confirming his romantic relationship with Osarawu. This revelation followed his recent announcement of separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.

Amid growing speculation about his relationship with the Edo lawmaker, 2Baba made an appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly on Monday. However, in his Wednesday morning video, he made his intentions clear, stating his plans to marry Osarawu.

Addressing the controversy surrounding their relationship, 2Baba denied claims that Osarawu played any role in his marital issues with Annie.

“I said what I said. All of us will be alright… Honourable Natasha has been dragged, called all sorts of names, and labeled a homewrecker. She is a young, brilliant, and amazing woman,” he stated.

“She has nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. But I see everyone trying to rope her into everything. Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, and I want to marry her.”
