President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration has significantly boosted Nigeria’s security architecture through major military investments and coordinated counter-terrorism efforts. According to the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris, the government has procured over 35 new aircraft, four naval vessels, and substantial ammunition to support ongoing operations across the country.

These efforts have led to the elimination of over 13,500 terrorists, while about 120,000 insurgents have surrendered. Over 17,000 of them have been rehabilitated and reunited with their families. President Tinubu’s approach blends military force with intelligence reform, community engagement, and regional cooperation.

During a recent visit to Benue State, the President ordered immediate security action following deadly attacks. He also approved the creation of a peace-building committee involving traditional rulers to address the root causes of violence and foster lasting stability.

The Tinubu administration’s strategy combines military strength, diplomatic engagement with neighbouring countries, and grassroots peace initiatives, signaling a firm resolve to restore security nationwide.
