Tinubu Appoints Namdas as BCDA DG, Names Obahiagbon and Umeoji NDPHC Executive Directors

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Abdulrazak Sa’ad Namdas as the new Director-General of the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA).

Namdas succeeds Dr. Dakorinama Alabo George, who resigned from the position to pursue an elective office in his home state.

A former member of the House of Representatives who represented Ganye/Jada/Mayo Belwa/Toungo Federal Constituency of Adamawa State, Namdas previously served as spokesperson of the 8th House of Representatives and recently contested in the Adamawa State governorship primary election.

The President also appointed Patrick Obahiagbon as Executive Director, Strategy and Commercial, of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).

In addition, Chukwuma Umeoji has been reappointed as Executive Director, Corporate Services, of the NDPHC.

Obahiagbon replaces Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, who resigned from the position to pursue his political aspirations, while Umeoji returns to the office after previously stepping aside to contest for political office in Anambra State.

Obahiagbon is a former member of both the Edo State House of Assembly and the National Assembly, while Umeoji represented Aguata Federal Constituency in the 9th House
