A break-in occurred at a Los Angeles home believed to be owned by actor Brad Pitt, authorities confirmed late Thursday. Three thieves reportedly entered the residence in the Los Feliz neighbourhood late Wednesday night by breaking through a front window, ransacking the property before fleeing with stolen items.

While the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) did not officially confirm the identity of the homeowner, reports indicate the address aligns with a property Pitt purchased in 2023. The actor was not present during the burglary, which occurred around 10:30 PM local time.

Pitt, who was in the UK earlier this week for the London premiere of his upcoming film F1, was accompanied by fellow Hollywood stars Tom Cruise and Lewis Hamilton. The film, set for release this Friday, is expected to draw substantial attention.

The burglars reportedly made off with several items, though police have yet to reveal what exactly was taken. Additionally, the LAPD has not provided any details on the estimated value of the stolen goods.

The residence, a large three-bedroom home located just outside Griffith Park, sits beneath the iconic Hollywood Sign and is surrounded by dense greenery and a tall fence. This level of privacy is typically seen in high-profile properties, such as Pitt’s, which are shielded from public view.

This incident adds to a growing list of celebrity-targeted burglaries in Los Angeles, including previous cases involving stars like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. The break-in follows an incident last month, where an individual was arrested after allegedly ramming his vehicle into the gate of Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston’s home.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the burglary and have yet to confirm any further details about the suspects involved.
