
UK National Security Adviser, Jonathan Powell, has met President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, as part of engagements following the 4th UK–Nigeria Security Partnership Dialogue.
Powell, who led the British delegation to the dialogue, delivered a message from the UK Government to the Nigerian President during the visit.
The meeting underscored ongoing security cooperation between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, particularly in areas such as counter-terrorism, intelligence sharing, and regional stability.
President Tinubu reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with the UK, especially in addressing shared security challenges and enhancing collaboration on global security concerns.
The UK delegation’s visit is part of continued diplomatic engagements aimed at deepening strategic partnerships between both countries.
