Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has said that the people of Kano have “every reason” to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing ongoing collaboration between the state and the Federal Government and the benefits the state is receiving from federal projects.

The governor made the statement on Wednesday at the Government House, Kano, while presenting a Certificate of Return to the newly elected member of the House of Representatives for Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo.

According to him, the relationship between the Kano State Government and the Federal Government under President Tinubu has continued to yield positive development outcomes, especially in infrastructure and governance support.

Yusuf called on political leaders, stakeholders, and residents of Kano to remain united and strengthen cooperation with the Federal Government for the benefit of the state.

He said:

“The people of Kano State have every reason to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. His commitment to the development of Kano and Nigeria at large has shown that he deserves overwhelming support from our people.”

The governor also emphasized that the partnership between both levels of government has helped advance key projects in the state and improve coordination on development initiatives.

He further urged unity among political actors in Kano and reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to continue working with the Federal Government to improve living conditions for citizens.

Reports indicate that Yusuf’s comments come amid growing political discussions around 2027 alignments and ongoing cooperation between state governments and the presidency.
