President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on Monday hosted a grand reception at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in honour of Nigeria’s senior women’s national football team, the Super Falcons, following their triumphant outing at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).

The celebratory event was filled with warmth, gratitude, and national pride as the President personally commended the Falcons for their exceptional performance, resilience, and the honour they brought to Nigeria on the continental stage. The First Lady also applauded the team for being an inspiration to young girls and women across the country, noting that their success is a symbol of what Nigerian women can achieve when given the right support.
