Nigeria has deepened its collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Africa as part of efforts to promote inclusive economic growth and maximize opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

In a bilateral meeting with UNDP Africa Regional Director Ms. Ahunna Eziakonwa and her team, discussions centered on innovative initiatives such as the Market Intelligence Portal and evidence-based support for women and youth exporters.

The partnership is expected to unlock new trade opportunities, strengthen competitiveness, and ensure that vulnerable groups, particularly women and young people, fully benefit from Africa’s single market framework.
