Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, will make a state broadcast at 6 pm today to thank stakeholders for their roles in restoring peace across the state. The governor is also expected to use the address to reassure residents of his administration’s commitment to stability and development.

Fubara disclosed this shortly after his return to Port Harcourt on Friday, where he was received by a large crowd of supporters at the airport. He expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown and emphasized that the state has turned a new page toward peace.

“We are going to address the state officially by 6 pm, and in that broadcast, we will appreciate everyone who brought normalcy to this state,” the governor said.
