Rivers State Governor Fubara Makes Broadcast After Emergency Rule

Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Friday made a state broadcast following the end of the six-month emergency rule in the state.

In his address, Governor Fubara expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, for their roles in restoring peace and stability to Rivers State. He described their interventions as pivotal in ensuring the return of normalcy and governance.

The governor also reassured Rivers people of his administration’s renewed commitment to unity, development, and service delivery, while calling on all stakeholders to continue supporting peace-building efforts in the state.
