Owerri, Imo State – The Assumpta Twin Flyover, one of the major road infrastructure projects in Imo State, was officially commissioned on Tuesday by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The ceremony drew a high-powered delegation of political leaders from across the country. Among those present were Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Senator Barau I. Jibrin, Deputy Speaker Hon. Benjamin Kalu, Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, and the host Governor, Hope Uzodimma.

The project is expected to significantly ease traffic flow in Owerri while improving access to key parts of the state capital. The event also symbolized broader collaboration between the federal and state governments to deliver infrastructure that drives economic growth and enhances the daily lives of citizens.
