President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 7 a.m., to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.

The broadcast is expected to highlight key milestones of the nation’s journey, reflect on its democratic progress, and outline the administration’s vision for the years ahead.

Television and radio stations across the country have been directed to hook up with the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for a simultaneous relay of the President’s address.

The announcement was made in a statement issued on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga.
