In an emotional statement shared on Instagram the following day, the 46-year-old singer thanked fans for their support and explained that she had been battling dehydration and exhaustion after weeks of nonstop rehearsals. “I sincerely apologize for the abrupt end to last night’s performance,” Brandy wrote. “After experiencing dehydration and feeling faint, everyone agreed that prioritizing my well-being was of the utmost importance.”
She revealed that despite feeling unwell, she tried to continue performing but was unable to connect properly with the show’s technical setup. Fans at the United Center saw Monica complete the set alone, ending the concert early. Brandy assured supporters she’s now resting and grateful for the outpouring of love as she focuses on recovery.
