During the visit, the contractor reiterated their commitment to meeting the project deadlines, assuring that all necessary resources and measures are being deployed to ensure timely delivery. The project is aimed at improving road safety, reducing travel time, and enhancing connectivity between major economic hubs in the northern region.

The House of Representatives Committee on Works expressed satisfaction with the progress while emphasizing that it will continue to closely monitor the project. The committee pledged that it would not relent until commuters experience a safer and smoother journey along this critical transport corridor.

The rehabilitation of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highways is part of the Federal Government’s broader agenda to modernize national road infrastructure, boost trade, and enhance regional integration, contributing to economic growth and improved livelihoods for citizens.
