The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the successful upload of all its candidates for the 2027 general elections to the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) Candidate Nomination Portal (ICNP).
In a statement issued by the party’s National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the APC confirmed that it submitted a total of 471 candidates, comprising its presidential ticket, 109 senatorial candidates and 360 House of Representatives candidates.
Professor Yilwatda described the successful upload as a major milestone for the ruling party, congratulating the candidates, party leaders and members on the completion of the nomination process.
He said the achievement marks the end of a critical phase in the party’s preparations for the 2027 general elections.
According to the APC National Chairman, the party’s attention will now shift to nationwide mobilisation and campaign activities aimed at securing victory at the polls.
The completion of the upload comes ahead of INEC’s deadline for the submission of candidates by political parties participating in the 2027 general elections.
