

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday received His Grace, Most Reverend Ignatius Ayau Kaigama, the Archbishop of the Abuja Catholic Diocese, at the State House, Abuja. The visit formed part of the Archbishop’s courtesy call to discuss matters of national unity, peace, and moral renewal.
During the meeting, discussions focused on strengthening collaboration between the Church and the government in promoting social harmony, good governance, and support for the underprivileged. Archbishop Kaigama commended the President’s efforts toward fostering national cohesion and encouraged continuous dialogue among Nigeria’s diverse religious and ethnic groups.
President Tinubu expressed appreciation for the Church’s role in peacebuilding and nation-building, assuring continued partnership in advancing the welfare of citizens and upholding moral values in society.
