

The Federal Ministry of Youth Development, under the leadership of Honourable Minister Comrade Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, has announced the launch of the Nigerian Youth Help Desk WhatsApp AI Chatbot, a digital innovation designed to provide real-time support, guidance, and access to resources for young Nigerians across the country.
Developed in partnership with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Digital Innovation, the chatbot aims to reach over one million youths annually, demonstrating the Federal Government’s commitment to leveraging technology for youth empowerment, inclusion, and national development.
The initiative will be formally introduced at a Stakeholders’ Engagement and Demonstration Forum, which will feature a live demonstration of the chatbot, presentations of its vision and operational framework, opportunities for stakeholder feedback, and discussions on nationwide adoption and integration.
Speaking ahead of the launch, Minister Wisdom emphasized that the chatbot is a forward-thinking tool designed to tackle key challenges facing Nigerian youths, including employment, mental health, civic engagement, and entrepreneurship. He described the platform as a digital lifeline, ensuring that every young Nigerian has access to credible information, mentorship, and opportunities that can transform their future.
The Ministry has invited all stakeholders, development partners, and youth organizations to participate in this landmark initiative aimed at creating a digitally connected and empowered generation.
