Vice President Kashim Shettima on Thursday joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, for the formal presentation of a research paper by participants of the National Defence College (NDC), Course 33, Higher Defence Management.

The presentation, a major component of the College’s strategic leadership development programme, highlighted extensive research carried out by the participants on national security, defence management, and emerging security threats. Their findings are expected to support ongoing reforms within Nigeria’s security architecture and enhance government decision-making processes.

President Tinubu commended the participants and the leadership of the College for their rigorous intellectual work, stressing that such research remains vital to shaping policies that promote national stability, strengthen economic resilience, and reinforce long-term defence preparedness.
