The Nigeria–China Strategic Partnership (NCSP) has welcomed a delegation of Chinese investors in Abuja as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen trade and investment relations between Nigeria and China.

The visiting consortium, led by Mr. David Chen of the China Hainan Investment Council, engaged NCSP officials in discussions focused on expanding bilateral trade, promoting industrial cooperation, and attracting long-term Chinese investment into Nigeria.

Key areas of engagement included proposals for a Nigeria–China Trade and Investment Platform to enhance business collaboration, as well as plans to establish a Promotion Centre in China to support Nigerian exports and investor outreach. The delegation also highlighted opportunities within China’s Hainan Free Trade Port that Nigerian businesses could leverage for market access and growth.

NCSP described the engagement as a strategic move to deepen economic ties and position Nigeria as a preferred destination for Chinese investment across key sectors of the economy. Visit www.jocomms.com for more news.
