President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, on Tuesday received the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at his Lagos residence.
The meeting provided an opportunity for engagement between the Presidency and the Christian body on issues of national unity, peace, and inclusive governance. Discussions also centred on the role of faith-based organisations in promoting harmony and moral values across the country.
President Tinubu reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to freedom of religion, peaceful coexistence, and continuous dialogue with religious leaders in the collective effort to strengthen national cohesion and development.
