Oduwole Congratulates Oba of Lagos, Other Honourees on National Recognition

The Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, has congratulated the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Akiolu I, alongside Chief (Hon.) Olajumoke Okoya-Thomas, Chief (Hon.) Kafilat Ogbara and other distinguished recipients, on their recent honours.

In a congratulatory message, the Minister described the recognition as a well-deserved testament to decades of purposeful leadership and selfless service, particularly in advancing the socio-economic development of Lagos State.

Dr. Oduwole noted that the conferment of the honour reflected the recipients’ enduring contributions to governance, community development and the preservation of culture.

She expressed confidence that the new title bestowed on the Oba of Lagos would further strengthen his role in promoting unity and cultural heritage, while wishing him continued wisdom, strength and grace in service to the people.

The Minister also commended all the honourees for their dedication and impact, urging them to continue upholding values of leadership and service in their various capacities.
