IShowSpeed Set to Receive Ghanaian Passport After Africa Tour

American streamer and YouTuber IShowSpeed is set to receive a Ghanaian passport following his recent visit to Ghana.

On December 29, Speed launched a 28-day livestream tour across the continent titled “Speed Does Africa.” The project took him to several African countries, where he showcased local cultures, people and landscapes to his massive global audience, with Ghana being one of the key stops on the tour.

Announcing the development via his X (formerly Twitter) page, Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, revealed that his office has approved the issuance of a Ghanaian passport to the streamer. Ablakwa described IShowSpeed as a “worthy ambassador” who positively represented the country during his visit.

The move has sparked excitement online, with many praising the recognition of Speed’s role in promoting African culture to a global audience.
