Over two months after Kris Jenner’s star-studded 70th birthday celebration, Kim Kardashian opened up about why some photos—including those featuring Meghan Markle and Prince Harry—were taken down from social media.
Speaking on her sister Khloé’s Khloé in Wonder Land podcast, Kim said the decision was “really innocent” and rooted in respect for the royal couple. She explained that she and Kris Jenner always ask for permission before posting photos, and while the couple initially approved sharing the images, they may have later reconsidered.
Kim speculated that Meghan and Harry might have felt the timing was off, noting, “I think they realized it was Remembrance Day… and they didn’t want to be seen at a party, even though it’s already up and then taken down.”
The photos were originally taken after the Baby2Baby gala, and Kim suggested the birthday party’s more celebratory vibe might have prompted the couple to rethink being featured.
Kim emphasized the longstanding friendship between her mom and Meghan, describing their relationship as “really sweet” and noting there was no controversy intended in the photo removals.
