The Federal Government (FG) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s creative and entertainment industry following an engagement between the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, and the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).

The meeting, held with TAMPAN’s leadership led by its President, Otunba Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr. Latin, focused on strengthening collaboration to nurture and empower creative talents across the country. The FG described the entertainment industry as one of Nigeria’s strongest cultural and economic assets, noting its growing influence on the global stage.

The engagement followed the recent honour conferred on Dr. Tunji-Ojo as “Man of the Year” at TAMPAN’s National Professional and Empowerment Summit, in recognition of reforms and improved service delivery in the Ministry of Interior. The Federal Government emphasized that governance is a shared responsibility and reiterated its readiness to partner with stakeholders to drive national development through the creative sector.
