President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the renewal of tenure for three Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service. The affected officials are Ms Kachallom Shangti Daju, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare; Mrs Beatrice Jedy‑Agba, Solicitor‑General of the Federation and Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Justice; and Dr Mary Ada Ogbe, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Regional Development.

The approval, effective from 27 April 2026, marks a second and final four‑year term for the officials. This action aligns with Public Service Rule (PSR) 020909, which allows Permanent Secretaries an initial four‑year term and eligibility for a further term subject to satisfactory performance.

The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson‑Jack, congratulated the officials on their reappointment and urged them to use the renewed mandate as a call for heightened dedication and excellence in service delivery.

She charged the Permanent Secretaries to bring their experience and professional expertise to bear in effectively discharging their duties for the benefit of the nation.

The renewed appointments underscore the administration’s commitment to continuity, institutional memory, and professional management within the Federal Civil Service.
