Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has said he will attend the African Democratic Congress (ADC) National Convention “in spirit,” ahead of the party’s gathering scheduled for tomorrow.

El-Rufai made the remark in a message that has sparked reactions, noting that while he will not be physically present at the convention, he will be following the proceedings closely.

The former governor, who recently aligned with the ADC following his departure from the APC, has been linked with ongoing internal restructuring and coalition discussions within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
