The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has expressed confidence that the party will defeat former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, in future elections in Kano State, following what he described as growing support within the state’s political structure.

Ganduje stated that the APC’s chances have strengthened with the inclusion of Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, suggesting that recent political realignments in the state would work in the party’s favour.

He also described Kwankwaso as “a bird hopping from one tree to another,” adding that his political influence was gradually weakening.

The remarks highlight rising political tension in Kano as key figures continue to position themselves ahead of future electoral contests.
