Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has issued a strong warning against any financial institution or property owner supporting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in its internal nomination process.

Wike stated that any bank that allows the Turaki-led PDP faction to open an account for the sale of nomination forms would face serious consequences.

He also cautioned against the use of private or public buildings for party administrative activities, saying he would take enforcement action against any facility used as the PDP headquarters.

“Any bank that allows Turaki-led PDP to open an account for the sale of nomination forms will be in trouble. I will seal off any house that allows them to use it as the PDP headquarters,” Wike said.

The remarks come amid ongoing internal tensions within the opposition party over leadership and administrative control.
