

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the Africa Forward Summit.
The President landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the early hours of Monday at about 00:18 a.m. local time.
He was received on arrival by Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, alongside the High Commissioner of Kenya in Nigeria, Isaac Parashina, senior Kenyan government officials, and members of Nigeria’s diplomatic mission in Kenya.
The summit, co-hosted by Kenyan President William Ruto and French President Emmanuel Macron, brings together African Heads of State, policymakers, development partners, and business leaders to explore pathways for economic transformation, trade expansion, digital innovation, infrastructure development, climate resilience, and shared prosperity.
President Tinubu’s participation underscores Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening African unity, deepening regional cooperation, and advancing strategic partnerships that support sustainable development across the continent.
He is expected to engage in a series of high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s diplomatic and economic relations, while reinforcing the country’s leadership role in Africa’s development agenda.
The President is accompanied by a delegation comprising the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu; Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari; Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola; Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal; Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Jumoke Oduwole; and Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, among others.
Also in the delegation are the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPCO), the Minister of State-designate for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, the Director General of the National Council on Climate Change (NCCC), Mrs Omotenioye Majekodunmi, and the Nigerian Ambassador to France, Amb. Ayodele Oke.
