President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says Nigeria is projected to attract close to $20 billion in foreign direct investment this year, citing ongoing reforms aimed at improving transparency, efficiency, and the overall investment climate.

He made the statement on Thursday during the Africa CEO Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.

“This year alone, I can beat my chest that Nigeria is attracting close to $20 billion in foreign direct investment,” he said.

The President explained that his administration has introduced incentives to encourage capital inflows and has worked to remove bottlenecks that previously discouraged investors.

He added that the reforms are designed to strengthen investor confidence and position Nigeria as a more attractive destination for global capital.
