Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, has received a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of his contributions to the promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and job creation in Nigeria.

The award was presented during the 2026 National MSME Awards ceremony in Abuja by the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President (Office of the Vice President), Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, representing Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Speaking after receiving the honour, Mohammed Idris Malagi dedicated the recognition to the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, its agencies, and members of staff for their commitment to public communication and national development.

The minister reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to ensuring Nigerians remain informed about government policies, programmes, and opportunities aimed at empowering entrepreneurs, creating jobs, and driving economic growth under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
