Sweden and Denmark have signed a contract with Swedish military equipment manufacturer BAE Systems Hägglunds for the delivery of 205 CV90 armored combat vehicles, aimed at replenishing their stocks following donations to Ukraine, the Swedish government announced Friday.

According to the statement, 115 vehicles will be delivered to Denmark, 50 to Sweden, and 40 to Ukraine. The contract, valued at 25 billion Swedish kronor ($2.3 billion), will be funded through contributions previously made by Sweden and Denmark.

“These investments will enable more Swedish combat vehicles to enhance security in Europe, particularly in Ukraine,” said Swedish Defence Minister Pål Jonson.

Currently, 10 countries operate CV90 combat vehicles, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Ukraine.
