Sergio Conceição has been appointed as the new head coach of AC Milan following the dismissal of Paulo Fonseca on Monday.
Fonseca was relieved of his duties after failing to secure a consistent push for Champions League qualification in Serie A.
The 51-year-old Portuguese manager had hinted at his departure earlier, stating he had been sacked as he left the San Siro following a press conference after Milan’s 1-1 draw with AS Roma on Sunday.
