Former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has obtained the presidential nomination form of the African Democratic Congress at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

The development comes as part of early political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The nomination form was picked on his behalf by former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), John Odigie Oyegun, alongside former Minister of Environment, Mohammed Abdullahi, Nura Abatemi, Asita, and Ike Bishop Okoronkwo, Chief Executive Officer of Bishop Plus Media Services, among other political stakeholders.

The move has further heightened political conversations within opposition circles as preparations for the next election cycle gradually gather momentum.
