The All Progressives Congress (APC) has revised its list of candidates in Ondo, Benue, Kwara, and Kogi States following the conclusion of its internal appeals process ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s National Working Committee (NWC), which has the final authority on candidate nominations, approved the updated lists before their submission to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The adjustments followed the review of petitions and appeals arising from the party’s primary elections and were aimed at resolving disputes and ensuring compliance with party guidelines and electoral regulations.
Some of the affected candidates have reportedly received the necessary nomination documents, confirming their status as the party’s candidates for the forthcoming elections.
The development is expected to address lingering concerns in the affected states as the APC intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
