The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) are not prepared for the 2027 general elections, citing the internal crises and legal disputes facing the opposition parties.
The ruling party said the two opposition parties remain preoccupied with leadership disputes, unresolved primary election controversies and multiple court cases, which it argued have hindered their preparations for the polls.
According to the APC, while it has successfully completed the nomination of its candidates, the ADC and NDC are still grappling with internal disagreements over candidate selection and party administration.
The party maintained that the unresolved disputes have weakened the opposition’s ability to present a united front ahead of the 2027 elections.
The APC expressed confidence in its own preparedness, saying its focus has shifted to nationwide mobilisation and campaign activities as it seeks victory in the forthcoming general elections.
