Ekiti Poll: ADC Flagbearer Bejide Votes at Oke Adura, Hails Peaceful Process

The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2026 Ekiti State election, Ambassador Dare Bejide, has cast his vote and praised the level of voter participation in the ongoing poll.

Bejide voted at the Oke Adura Polling Unit in Ekiti South-West Local Government Area of the state. After voting, he described the turnout as encouraging, noting that residents came out peacefully to exercise their civic rights.

The ADC candidate is among key contenders in the election, which features candidates from major political parties including the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Ekiti governorship election is being closely watched as voters decide who will govern the state for the next four years, with campaigns largely focused on infrastructure, jobs, security, and economic development.
