Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have successfully foiled a terrorist attack and rescued 15 kidnapped victims during a military operation in Marge community, Danko/Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

The operation was launched following credible intelligence on the movement of armed terrorists in the area. Troops engaged the criminals in a fierce gun battle, forcing them to flee and abandon their captives.

The rescued victims were safely evacuated and are currently receiving necessary care, while security forces have intensified clearance operations to track down the fleeing terrorists and prevent further attacks.
