Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, has defended the economic reforms introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the administration remains committed to rebuilding Nigeria’s economic foundation and strengthening long-term stability.

Governor Uzodimma made the remarks during a diplomatic engagement organised by the Progressive Governors’ Forum in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors. The meeting brought together members of the diplomatic community in Nigeria to discuss governance priorities, investment opportunities, and development strategies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He noted that the ongoing reforms are designed to reposition the economy, attract foreign investment, and improve fiscal resilience, while also addressing structural challenges affecting growth and development.

The engagement provided a platform for dialogue between state leaders and foreign diplomats on Nigeria’s policy direction and economic outlook under the current administration.
