The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, confirmed the achievement during a briefing, noting that the Navy’s increased patrols and surveillance have significantly reduced the scale of crude oil theft in Nigeria’s coastal waters. He credited the Renewed Hope Agenda for enhancing inter-agency collaboration and investing in new naval assets that made the operations more effective.
