Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has declared support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, describing him as a distinguished son of the state.

In a statement issued following a meeting with the leadership caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osogbo, Governor Adeleke said the endorsement followed extensive consultations with stakeholders across Osun State, including traditional rulers, civil servants, market leaders and grassroots party members.

He affirmed his continued loyalty to the PDP, the platform on which he was elected, and announced that the Osun PDP had unanimously endorsed him for a second term in office in 2026.

Governor Adeleke stated:
“I remain in the PDP, the party that gave me the platform to serve the good people of Osun. I have been unanimously endorsed by the Osun PDP for a second term in 2026. Our party remains the most popular and trusted across the state.”

He added that his administration would continue to deliver on its Five-Point Agenda with renewed commitment, inspired by the ongoing support and love from the people of Osun.

On the 2027 presidential election, the governor said:
“Our party in Osun has also endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for re-election in 2027, recognizing him as a proud son of our state.”
