President Tinubu Commiserates with Governor Ododo Over Father’s Death

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to the Governor of Kogi State, Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the President expressed deep sympathy with the Ododo family, the people of Kogi State, and friends of the deceased, describing Alhaji Momohsani as a respected community leader whose legacy is reflected in the accomplishments of his children.

The late Alhaji Momohsani passed away on Monday at the age of 83, shortly after the 2 p.m. Muslim prayers.

President Tinubu urged Governor Ododo, his family, and the wider Ododo clan to take solace in the life of service to God and humanity exemplified by their patriarch, noting that his moral and religious values would continue to inspire those he left behind.

The President further prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed and asked God to grant comfort to the bereaved family, friends, and associates.
