The First Lady of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, will today commission the Lagos Industrial Leather Hub, the biggest of its kind in West Africa. The state-of-the-art facility is located in Matori, Mushin Local Government Area, and is expected to transform leather production and trade in the region.

The hub is designed to serve as a center for innovation, training, and large-scale manufacturing in leather works, providing opportunities for artisans, small businesses, and investors. It is also projected to boost exports, create jobs, and promote Nigeria’s participation in the global leather value chain.
The commissioning of the hub by the First Lady underscores the Federal Government’s commitment to industrialization and support for local industries, with Lagos State positioned as a key driver of growth in the creative and manufacturing sectors.
