Neymar has spoken out after being left out of Brazil’s squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers under Carlo Ancelotti.

The 33-year-old forward, omitted due to what Ancelotti described as a “minor problem,” shared a photo of himself training in the gym and posted a cryptic message on Instagram about persistence and overcoming obstacles.

“Success comes from desire, determination, and persistence in achieving a goal,” he wrote. “Even if you don’t reach your target, those who seek and overcome obstacles will, at the very least, do admirable things.”

The post is widely seen as Neymar’s way of addressing doubts over his form and fitness while signalling his determination to prove he still has a role with the Seleção.
