Amusa reminded fans that she had already declared her HIV-negative status in 2019, part of an awareness campaign encouraging people to know their status. She emphasized that her past post was meant to promote testing, not confirm any illness.

Despite threatening legal action against the accuser, Dayo Amusa has chosen forgiveness but stands firm against misinformation. She urged Nigerians to regularly test for HIV as part of their health routine to promote awareness and early detection.
