In a unanimous decision, all 885 accredited delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State have elected Governor Biodun Oyebanji as the party’s flag bearer for the upcoming governorship election.

The primary election, held under the supervision of the APC Electoral Committee, was peaceful and transparent, with delegates from across the 16 local government areas affirming their confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s leadership and performance over the past years.

Party leaders described his emergence as a testament to his people-oriented policies, infrastructural development, and efforts to promote good governance in the state.

Governor Oyebanji, in his acceptance remarks, thanked party members for their trust and pledged to consolidate on his administration’s achievements while deepening development in all sectors of Ekiti’s economy.
