The newly appointed Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Dr. Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh, SAN, has officially assumed office, pledging to elevate Nigeria’s scientific and technological advancement to new heights.

Appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Dr. Udeh’s leadership marks a fresh direction for the Ministry, with a strong emphasis on youth-driven innovation, local capacity building, and creating an ecosystem that promotes research, creativity, and technological breakthroughs.

In his inaugural address, the Minister reaffirmed his commitment to advancing policies that align with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, underscoring the need for collaboration between government, academia, industry, and innovators to accelerate Nigeria’s transformation into a globally competitive innovation hub.

The Ministry’s Permanent Secretary welcomed the new Minister and assured full support in realizing his vision for a more technologically empowered Nigeria.
