President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, the Emir of Ilorin, on the 30th anniversary of his ascension to the throne.

The President praised the Emir for his visionary leadership, integrity, and dedication to the peace, stability, and development of Ilorin and Kwara State. He noted that the Emir’s three-decade reign has been marked by harmony, progress, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people.

Describing His Royal Highness as a man of honour and dignity, President Tinubu highlighted his distinguished service in the judiciary prior to his enthronement and his continued contributions as Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano. He commended the Emir’s courage and fairness as a Justice of the Court of Appeal, noting that his boldness in dispensing justice during challenging times remains exemplary.

The President prayed for Almighty Allah to bless the Emir with many more years of good health, wisdom, and impactful leadership for the benefit of the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria.
